Donna Kunk

TC Futures Case Manager

Hi, my name is Donna. TC Futures is full of passionate people. Your success is very important to me. I can help you in a variety of ways. Some students like a specific plan to follow that They put in action. I just follow your plan and if you want to be held accountable for completing your education; I’LL DO IT. If you have a laid-back attitude about it and need time to warm up to it. “You are the captain!”
I will support you as you go through the GED process and I will refer you to our next steps program as needed. I’m flexible. All I ask is that you come into the center and see what you think. And… “Strive for progress, not perfection.”

As a Case Manager for the TC Futures Open Doors program I help guide the center’s Kennewick students in obtaining their GEDs. While every student starts our program with different skills, abilities, and experiences my goal and passion is assisting these students in overcoming any barriers they may face in obtaining their goals. I have worked with students from all walks of life and pride myself in being able to look past a student’s current circumstances and seeing their future potential. I have worked with High School Students for the past 6 years and understand the issues our students are currently facing and I strive to be someone they can rely on.

I have worked as a Student Achievement Specialist at New Horizons High School and as a Communities In Schools Coordinator at Legacy High School. I have a beautiful wife and a baby boy who I love spending time with. I’m a huge basketball fan and am Washington Huskies Alumni and fan.

Josh Guajardo TC Futures Case Manager

Josh Guajardo

TC Futures Case Manager

I’ve been fortunate to have worked for amazing organizations and school district’s, but no place as unique as TC Futures. TC Futures could be best described as an airport, a place where people of all walks of life meet to be sent to their desired destination. On the journey to earn the GED comes a lot of excitement and work that leaves youth feeling inspired to accomplish more. As a Case Manager, I am nothing more than a cheerleader on that journey. I am passionate and value every conversation and goal each student sets for themselves knowing they are more than capable to accomplish anything they want to in this life. My goal for every student I work with at TC Futures, is to make them feel comfortable and confident with their academic, career and personal choices to ensure they have an opportunity at the quality of life they deserve.

Aside from my love to help youth reach their academic and career goals, I love my family, sports and the Cougs. At home, I am fortunate to live life with my wife Jonna and our two daughters Bentley and Blakely. You will typically catch us watching the Dallas Cowboys, Portland Trail Blazers and Seattle Mariners play week in and week out or find me on a golf course. As you get know me you will learn that I bleed Crimson and Grey. I graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Strategic Communications and loved every moment of it. There is nothing better than waking up on a Saturday knowing it’s Cougar Football Saturday unless we’re beating the Huskies on a Friday!

Go Cougs!

 Mark Wheaton TC Futures Director

Mark Wheaton

TC Futures Director

My favorite part about being the Director at TC Futures is talking to youth and young adults about their hopes and dreams, and then helping them get on a pathway to make those dreams a reality! It is such an amazing experience to watch these youth connect their hearts to their passions, and then have the courage to take action. When I’m not watching my kids play soccer or going to their concerts, I like to play soccer, play my guitar, or read a good book.
